Holly Lapsley Fletcher, known professionally as Låpsley, is an English singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Southport, Merseyside. A classically trained oboist, pianist, and guitarist, she began self-producing electronic music at 17, uploading her early work to SoundCloud simply so family abroad could listen – only for the industry to come knocking.
She played Glastonbury’s BBC Introducing stage before going on to perform at Coachella, All Points East, and festivals worldwide. Racking up millions of streams across platforms, she founded Her Own Recordings and independently released her fourth album “I’m a Hurricane I’m a Woman in Love” in 2025. Her voice has become one of the most sought-after in electronic music, landing collaborations with the likes of Barry Can’t Swim on “Woman” and Duke Dumont on the 2026 release “Misdemeanour”.
Outspoken about queer identity and the industry’s tendency to underestimate female producers, Låpsley remains one of Britain’s most distinctive and fearless musical voices. Now, driven by a desire to bring people together over two of life’s greatest joys – music and food – she’s joined forces with her friend and private chef Caroline East to launch an intimate candlelit supper club series, hosted as an Airbnb Experience, where guests gather to share, connect, and discover in the most personal of settings.
