We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free, inclusive and enjoyable event experience for everyone, regardless of age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, national origin or religion. To that end, this code of conduct details the behaviour we don’t support.
All communication and interactions should be appropriate for a professional audience. Comments or images that are defamatory, discriminatory, obscene or of a sexual nature are prohibited.
Harassment
Harassment includes offensive verbal or online comments related to the above, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or sessions, inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.
We do not tolerate harassment of attendees, speakers, creators or staff in any form, whether during sessions, online or on the expo floor. Anyone violating these rules will be asked to stop immediately and may be removed from the event without refund, reported to the relevant authorities, and have their employer or organisation notified where appropriate.
If you are being harassed, witness someone else being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the organisers immediately via the registration desk or speak to a member of security.
Sponsors and exhibitors are also subject to this policy. Exhibitors should not use sexualised images, activities or uniforms which could create a sexualised environment.
Substance abuse
The use or dissemination of illegal drugs or abused prescription medication of any kind is strictly prohibited. Anyone found with or using illegal substances will be removed from the venue and banned from future events. Alcohol is permitted in moderation during specific times and at designated locations.
All delegates are asked to drink responsibly. If you have consumed alcohol and require assistance, please let the organisers know via the registration desk.
Your safety matters
As with any major city, take sensible precautions travelling to and from our venues, especially for evening events. Plan your journey in advance, travel with colleagues or friends where you can, and use licensed taxis or rideshare apps.
If someone appears unwell, intoxicated or vulnerable, please let a member of the CreatorFest team know so we can help. First aid and security staff are on-site throughout the event. In an emergency, or if a crime has been committed, call 999.
Networking and contact sharing
CreatorFest is built for making real connections. If you share your details through the event app, scan or are scanned via a badge or QR code, or otherwise engage with a sponsor or partner, your information may be shared with that organisation so they can follow up. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Unofficial events and on-site solicitation
Peripheral events around CreatorFest are welcome by sponsors and partners as long as they don’t clash with official programming, so please get organiser approval before planning one. Similarly, please don’t use CreatorFest’s audience, hashtag or branding to promote unofficial activity, and don’t solicit business away from your own stand. Anyone found doing so may be removed from the event and lose future exhibiting or sponsorship opportunities.
We thank all our delegates, creators and partners for helping keep CreatorFest welcoming, respectful and friendly for everyone.
