Nicola Gaea (pronounced guy-uh) is a London based singer songwriter creating contemporary soul rooted in the rich traditions of Lovers Rock, soul and jazz. Known for her warm vocals and honest songwriting, her music explores themes of identity, spirituality and community, drawing inspiration from the sounds she grew up with in her family home.

Since emerging in 2022, Nicola has received support from BBC Introducing London, BBC Radio 1, NTS Radio and Reprezent, alongside features in Wonderland, Clash and New Wave Magazine. Her debut EP, Rise, was supported by Help Musicians and the MOBO Awards, and recently released her highly anticipated second EP, continuing to build a distinctive voice within the UK’s contemporary soul scene.
