Speaker

Yessi Bello-Perez

Head of Creator and Community Management

LinkedIn

Yessi builds and leads communities and audiences at scale in technology and media companies, with end-to-end responsibility for strategy, go-to-market execution, cross-functional delivery, and people leadership.

In her current role as Head of Creator and Community Management, UK and Pan-Europe at LinkedIn, she owns the community strategy for her markets. Yessi leads and develops a team of editors and community managers, hiring and nurturing talent and working closely with executives, creators, subject-matter experts, VIPs, journalists and publishers. Together, they build, retain, and activate communities that consistently produce high-quality professional content for the platform.

At scale, she is accountable for content strategy and governance — setting standards and guardrails, shaping participation, and ensuring what is amplified is credible, on-brand, and valuable. This includes designing market-specific programmes and playbooks, setting priorities for her regions, and working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Communications, Policy, Trust, Brand, and Sales to launch and evolve initiatives that perform in diverse markets.

Earlier in her career, she built media products and audiences as a journalist and editor. She was Editor for EMEA at T Brand Studio at The New York Times, and previously a columnist and podcast host at the Financial Times and a technology commentator for Times Radio. That background continues to shape how she works today — particularly in creative direction, editorial judgment, narrative development, and the design of content formats that scale.
