Beckii Flint first found fame as a teenager in 2009, when her J-pop dance videos on YouTube went viral in Japan and led to an unexpected career as an idol in Japan. From her bedroom on the Isle of Man, she suddenly found herself performing on Japanese TV, appearing on magazine covers, and building a passionate international fanbase. Her journey was documented in the BBC Three film Beckii: Superstar at 14, which followed the story of a British schoolgirl whose life was transformed by Japanese pop culture and the early creator internet.

Fast forward to today: Beckii is the co-founder of Pepper, an award-winning influencer marketing agency, and has been recognised on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for her work in the creative industries. While her career has evolved into business leadership, she continues to advocate for the positive impact of global cultural exchange and frequently speaks about the evolution of online content creation and youth online.

She regularly contributes industry insight on topical events in the news, including BBC Radio 4 and Wake Up To Money. She has given evidence in the House of Lords and Commons for inquiries into influencer culture and marketing.

Alongside her agency work, Beckii is the founder of the Responsible Kidfluence Code initiative: a framework and advocacy movement designed to improve standards, safety and fairness for children featured in commercial social media content. The initiative brings together brands, agencies, platforms, policymakers and families to establish clearer guidance around wellbeing, financial protections, privacy and long-term digital safety for young creators.
