Mary-Havana Little is a highly skilled traditional fibrous plasterer based in the London area, celebrated for her work creating bespoke decorative mouldings and preserving historic heritage plasterwork, representing a new generation of craftswomen making waves in a male-dominated trade. Trained from a young age in the family plastering business by her father and brother, she specialises in handcrafted heritage features such as ceiling roses, cornices, and ornamental mouldings, bringing a deep passion for centuries-old craftsmanship over mass production to every project.
A Freeman of the prestigious Worshipful Company of Plaisterers in London, she has also been recognised as a Jesmonite Construction Ambassador and featured in B&Q’s TradePoint and Stabila’s True Pro Ladies campaigns. A strong advocate for encouraging women into skilled trades, she notably appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to share her journey of breaking through industry barriers. Her diverse portfolio spans bespoke custom pieces for luxury interiors and television and film sets through to restoring historic buildings, including her work on Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen.
Passionate about keeping this dying trade alive, she now hosts Airbnb Experiences to pass on her craft and give guests the chance to take a piece of this centuries-old tradition home with them, whether they’re a local looking to learn something new or a traveller seeking a truly unique and hands-on slice of British heritage.
